Personal Statement
Hi coach!
My name is Meghna Vinodhram and I am a 5’9 point guard from Melbourne, Australia.
I am a hard worker on the court and in the classroom with an equivalent 3.70 GPA.
Playing basketball at a College in the United States as a Student-Athlete is a dream of mine. It’s a challenge I’m willing to take on and will no doubt put blood, sweat, and tears into achieving my goal.
I would describe myself as a team player who is extremely competitive and will work as hard as possible to achieve personal and team goals. I am a strong shooting/point guard and an intense defensive player. I am a very coachable player who picks up information fast and is able to apply it to my game immediately. I’m always positive and enjoy encouraging everyone to play their best.
I put a lot of hours into basketball so I can continue to improve my game and develop my skills to become the best player I can possibly be.
Alongside basketball, is my academics. My studies are important and I plan to keep studying hard in college too. I can achieve this as I have very good time management skills.
