I come from a family that has strong values and morals. I’ve been taught that hard work and determination will lead to results over time. I’ve made these strong characteristics a part of who I am. They have contributed to my early successes in high school, both on and off the court. I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA through my first two years off the court, while being a four sport athlete as well as being active in choir, show choir, jazz choir, drama, speech, and DECA.
On the field, I’ve been a softball starter and All-Conference selection both my 8th grade and freshman year, along with earning All-Area 1st Team my freshman year. On the court, I earned playing time as a freshman on the volleyball team and became the starting setter my sophomore season.
My passion for basketball is above all and feeds my desire to play college ball. My freshman year, I was the sixth player, earning half the minutes contributing to a State Championship for Bishop Garrigan in 2023.
My sophomore season as a starter, I helped lead my team back to the Iowa state tournament when most counted us out after losing star studded players Audi Crooks and Molly Joyce from our championship team. I earned All-Conference honors as well as All-Area 2nd Team.
Approaching my junior year, I’ve continued to put in the work both on and off the court. I aim to become the most efficient all-around basketball player I can be and help my team bring another state title back to BG. I’ve dedicated myself to continue to become stronger, quicker, and smarter while improving my basketball skill set and working on my leadership abilities.
I am competitive by nature, bring positive energy to those around me, and believe strong impactful leadership is a key to a team’s culture and success. That is the type of culture I want to continue my career with after high school. I am a strong shooter from any range and confident in my offensive abilities; however, I love playing hard-nosed defense, creating a challenge for any opposing player I defend.
I believe in strong relationships amongst teammates and want to continue my career at a place where this is valued from the coaches down through the culture of the program. I am an impact player both on and off the court and look forward to bringing that impact to the college of my choice as I strive to reach my full potential as a player and person.
