Breck Goodman '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Breck Goodman. I'm a Freshman and Montezuma Community High Schools. I've been playing at high levels of basketball since I was in third grade up until this year. I played on an AAU team during that time and won many games and tournaments with my team. We are a small 1A school playing schools that are much bigger than we are. During that AAU time, we had never lost to a team lower than 3A school. I, and two other girls from my team, continued to play on AAU different teams together in the past two. All three of us actually played up onto Varsity this year, me being a starter.

Throughout my entire career, it has always been one of my biggest aspirations to play at a collegiate level. I've gone to camps, played summer ball, and have gotten one on one help with older players and coaches. Being able to play would be a dream of mine because I know that I would be able to put in the hard work to make myself an even better player, and use my leadership skills to impact my teammates. 

I'm always the teammate that keeps her head up no matter what is happening and tries to keep my teammates motivated. Of course, winning means a lot to me, but keeping my teammates head clear along with mine, means even more. I've even been told by my teammates that I'm a good leader and motivator.

My grades mean a lot to me as well. I always strive for the 4.0 in a class and I always push myself to absolute limit with my mental capacity. So far, I'm in the top five of my class. Plus I participate in almost everything that is offered at my school. Basketball, Volleyball, Track and Field, Softball, our lifting program FFA, Student Council, Color Guard, Band, Vocal, Speech and Drama, and the High School Musical, putting me in a lot of activities. I'm always competing to do the best I can in each of these activities.
