I consider myself a true team player with high level basketball IQ . I can play multiple positions from guard and forward. I am a selfless team player and excellent court awareness in finding an open player. My goal is to make every person I play with have the best game they can have (well-and win ). I have played AAU ball since 4th grade with All Iowa Attack/Kingdom Hoops split and last year with Jake Sullivan at Kingdom Hoops and have played varsity basketball with the Valley Tigers for the last four years. We are the largest school in Iowa and have been to state twice in the past three years. I am known to lead or spark the team and contribute both offensively and defensively when given the opportunity. I am not the flashy player or the most recognized, but my contributions are game changers. I do not look for rewards or recognition other than to "go to work", and help our team win.
As a student, I am positive and enjoy my school environment with friends, teachers and all the coaches from many different sports. I currently have a 3.0 GPA and scored a 20 on my ACTs. I love playing pick up ball and running cross country as well as traveling with my family.
I am hoping to help lead our team to state and given the opportunity will do everything in my power to have a successful season with a ton of fun.
What I am looking for in coaching is a leader that coaches basketball. One that I can really connect with both on and off the floor. Also a focus on building a team environment.
