Ever since loosing in the sub-state championship game my freshman year, I had been determined to help bring my team to the state tournament. That devastating loss made me step up as a leader and my team ended up making it to state the next year. That situation helped me gain focus on my goals and helped me grow as an athlete and a person. Going to the state tournament has also made me realize that I would love to pursue my athletic and academic career in college.
I have learned the true meanings of cooperation and support with my high school program. I would love to be apart of a college program that is an amazing fit for me both academically and athletically, while valuing teamwork and support as well. I believe I have the perseverance and the ability to make a good impression on a college team.
