My mom has always told me I see things that other people may not see. Maybe that's why I have such a heart for special needs students, and I notice that my four-year-old cousin is upset when my twin sister may not notice the same thing. When I see these things, I empathize with people in need, whether they are children or adults.
This characteristic can also be found in my basketball play. One of the top skills I possess is being able to see the floor, whether I am anticipating where a rebound will come off, or I am able to relish in a good assist made to my teammate to create a score. Sometimes, it allows me to get the loose ball that creates the winning basket. Being able to see things that other players may not see is what makes basketball fun for me, and it is also a skill that will make me a strong player for your team.
