After my state tournament was cancelled right before we took the floor my freshman year, I knew I had to work hard to receive that opportunity again. I did just that and was able to go all the way to the Final Four my sophomore year. My team faced a lot of challenges this past year, and I stepped up as a leader to help us reach our goals. I have the desire and drive to work as hard as I can to get to where I need to be. One thing that makes me stand out is that I have great court vision, I'm able to see my open teammates and get myself open. Not only do I work hard on the court, but I also do my best to excel in the classroom. I have very high expectations for myself, which is why I try to maintain a 4.0 GPA.
