I have learned a lot my freshman year playing jv and varsity basketball. I’ve been learning all about time management, leadership skills, how to be a good teammate, and commitment. As a freshman playing at the varsity level, it was a new and rewarding experience. Now, it was hard, but it was really fun and most definitely worth it. From the competition of earning respect from my new teammates and coaches I have the deepest respect for them, am willing to learn, and get the most out of my high school experience.
I have known I’ve wanted to pursue a good education and to play college basketball for several years, and now I’m ready to actually make it happen. I highly prioritize my education assignments before anything else I pursue in my life. From my experience with AAU and high school basketball I’m learning what it takes to have an impact on a program right away. From my ability to be coached, to my skill of pushing myself to the limits to get myself better and to get the people and my teammates around me better. I would love to have the opportunity to be a part of your program.
