It has always been my dream to play basketball at the collegiate level. While I know most high school players want that same opportunity, what I bring to the court makes me different than many. I supply a combination of tangible basketball skills along with interpersonal leadership skills. Additionally, I have a high basketball IQ and can play 3, 4, or 5. And, I am a vocal leader on the court who directs both offense and defense from the back court. My passion for the game makes me a very coachable player with a strong work ethic and a fierce competitive nature. I am always willing to play whatever role my coach and team need me to play whether it be tutor, mentor, or cheerleader, on and off the court.
I have played my entire high school career for one of the most competitive and winningest high school programs in Kentucky. I have been blessed to play in a starting role since my freshman year. Off the court, my high school is known as one of the toughest academic institutions in the country and I work hard to earn good grades so I can be equally successful in other areas of my life once the final buzzer sounds in my basketball career.
I know the right college opportunity exists for me and I am excited to find it. Once I identify the right program, it will be a win-win situation for everyone involved.
