Sydney Coleman '17 Recruiting Profile

I am Sydney Coleman, a senior at North Hardin High School. I am currently involved in soccer, basketball, and softball. I been play basketball since grade school. During my freshman year I earned my starting spot as a small forward. Now, I play just about anywhere depending on the line up.

My fearlessness has given me the courage to step up and defend players, such as multiple former Miss Kentucky Basketball and other division I signees. I'm also a strong leader on the floor with a good basketball IQ.  Through my average of 29 minutes on the floor, my defensive contribution consists of constant communication, blocking out/rebounding, and taking charges, of which I average 1.5 a game with a game high of 5. My size does not interfere with my ability to play. Offensively, I have the ability to hit the long range three, as well as attack the basket. My game high stats are 24 points, 4 steals, 16 rebounds, 10 assists. Other than basketball, I'm involved in softball and soccer. I began my soccer career my junior year; I have earned the spot of starting goalie on the varsity team.  Also, I was named as part of the All Area team and the District Tournament Team. In softball, I am the starting varsity catcher. In past years I ran cross country as well as played volleyball.

I continue to work on my individual skills as a basketball player in the off season and during my other sports. This year I look to improve on my stats and to take my team far. Thank you for taking time to get to know me, and I look forward to hearing from you.
