Emily Adams '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Emily Adams. I will be an upcoming senior for the 2024-2025 season at Bangor High School in Maine.  I was one of the team captains my Junior year.   I have been playing and working hard at basketball from a young age.  I am a consummate team player.  I have always cared more about the teams success over my own statistics.   I enjoy playing basketball the right way by competing within a team framework to achieve a goal.  I have been asked to be many things during my basketball career.  I mostly played point guard and shooting guard during my younger years through middle school.  Coming into high school, the team needed help down low as well, so I worked at developing offensive post moves as well as my post defense.  I've guarded everyone from the point guard to the center.   I am a very good ball handler with either hand.  I can score from the post all the way out to 3 point range.   I see the court well and make good decisions passing the ball.  I would describe my role on the Varsity team during  my junior year as flexible.  I played multiple positions this year.   I was willing and able to provide whatever the team needed to succeed.  I handled the ball against presses, made shots when needed, rebounded, and played tough defense.  I look forward to the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
