Jasmine Brianna Heath '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'7" shooting guard; Senior and consider myself a focused scholar athlete. I started playing organized basketball when I was 5 years old and have been playing AAU for 6 years. I have a few accomplishments that I would like to share. The first was my contribution to the 8th grade team, as a 6th grader, in winning the County championship (72-39) and the second accomplishment was helping my AAU 15U team place 6th in the 2009 USJN showcase tournament in Washington DC.   We also competed well in the 2011 USJN tournament in Washington DC, winning our pool for the 2nd time in a row.  In 2011, my AAU 16U team won its first tournament of the season. I played a major role on defense and rebounding especially defensive. My average points during the tournament were 2.5.  This year my 17U struggled during the season however I remained focused.  The last tournament of the season we took home first place and I took on the leadership role averaging 13 points and 15 rebounds. I can offer a positive attitude on and off the court and be a team leader. I have demonstrated great academic focus by earning 3 high school credits while in middle school. I also average a 3.5 GPA taking challenging curriculum.  I plan to major in Sports Management and would like to attend a school with excellent academic standards and a competitive basketball program.  Ideally, my preferred athletic environment would be where I could make an immediate impact on the team.  I am open to exploring opportunities at all divisions. I have family in the following states: SC, NC, AL, GA, FL, NY, NJ, MA, TN, PA, VA, DC, MD, MS, OH, DE, CT, IL, and VT.
