Olivia Fancett '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Olivia Fancett.  I'm from Michigan and I will be a Sophomore at Greenville Public Schools.  My graduation year is 2027.   I've been playing basketball since I was four years old.  My AAU team is Lakeside Basketball, and I've been playing with them since I was in 6th grade.  I've primarily played Point Guard for both my Greenville High School team, as well as Lakeside Basketball.   I’m currently playing on our Greenville Girls Varsity Basketball team.  

I'm an extremely coachable player and always play with 100% effort.  Whether I'm scoring, diving on the floor for loose balls, playing strong defense, taking rebounds away from taller players, getting steals, assists, or cheering on my teammates, I'm committed every second to helping my team become better.  I have a high basketball IQ, exceptional court vision, and enjoy being an extension of my coach out on the floor.  I have great dribbling skills, tremendous passer, and a strong finisher.  

When I'm not at team practice, I'm usually in the gym with my personal basketball trainer working on all aspects of my game, or in the weight room becoming stronger.  I also realize how important academics are, and I make sure I focus on becoming a better student every day and take pride in my 3.88 GPA.  

I look forward to continuing my passion for basketball throughout high school, with my ultimate goal of playing in college.  I look forward to finding the right fit both academically and athletically.
