Evelyn Wischmeyer '16 Recruiting Profile

I started playing basketball, when I was ten years old. In middle school, I started off playing as a point guard, for my travel team, Team Basketball. As I got into high school and continued to grow, I moved my way to playing Guard and small forward, this has allowed me to be a very versatile player anywhere on the court. I am now 5'10, and my wingspan is 71 inches. My height and my wingspan have given me a defensive advantage, blocking shots, and intercepting passes. Over the past few years, I have been working hard to improve my game, by coming in on Sunday's working with coaches on areas that can make me better. I've also attended a Div II basketball camp, in Michigan. The camp was six hours long, and very intense, but it was a great learning experience and I got a taste of playing college basketball.

I want to succeed athletically but also academically. My current GPA is a 3.8, and I am enrolled in many honors classes. I am also a member of National Honor Society, which has turned me into a better leader and more involved in my community. I am looking for a strong, academic college/University, that can help me exceed.
