My few goals are to get into a college to play basketball. I am a point guard and a captain for my JV team last year. I want to learn a lot from coaches and I strive to get better. I'd say I'm coachable. I love being a leader and being able to communicate and get along with all my teammates. In the classroom I work hard and get pretty consistent A's and B's. My goal for Junior year is to have the best grades in my entire high school career. I didn't realize before how important grades in school are, but now im learning how to study while practicing for basketball.
I love the game because of the long lasting friendships, competitiveness, and most importantly the life long lessons. I've learned so much just in a year or two whether it involves basketball or just skills for life. Such as how to talk to people that you may not know and how to overcome your fears. Basketball is something I would love to pursue in college while getting a good education for my future. I think Basketball saved me in a way from all the bad times. When I was at my lowest a few years back, I found love for basketball and I found so much joy in the game. I'm now working on the details in basketball and getting better everyday.
