Hello, I'm Olivia Johnson, but on the court I go by OJ. I love basketball! I'm sure you hear that from everyone, but I wanted you to know that I do too. I get excited about practices and even more so for games. When school basketball season is over, you can find me lifting weights or playing pick up ball at the local YMCA with anyone willing to play against me. My collegiate goal is to play D1 or D11 ball. I'd love to play in the WNBA someday. I'm a determined individual and when I want something, I work hard and go for it. For example, I taught myself to dribble and shoot with both the left and the right hand sides. When it comes to schoolwork, or anything for that matter, I don't like it hanging over my head, I get in there and get what needs to be done done. I'm serious about my studies and work hard to do as good as I can.
I'm someone you will see cheering on my teammates even when I'm not playing. I try to set a good example in my character by encouraging others and lifting them up and give credit to those who assist me. I don't do drama!! I repeat, I don't do drama. I'm there to work hard, play ball, and learn. I like to take in every bit of learning about the game, exercises, special moves, plays, anything you want to teach me, I want to learn it. You are my coach and I respect you! One of my favorite things... I'm 6'3", I LOVE to block those shots. Ü GET BLOCKED!!
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.
