I started little league basketball in 1st grade because I really wanted to be like my older brother and sister who showed me the great game of basketball. Now that I am in 9th grade and playing AAU, I realized that not only do I love basketball, but I need basketball as it helps me clear my mind especially during the pandemic, basketball as well helps me stay fit and strong. My father is my ultimate inspiration, He is encouraging and teaches me advanced skills but most importantly he supports my basketball career and has the most faith in me. I dream of someday playing college basketball and hopefully being able to teach the next generation the value of teamwork, sportsmanship and the positive mental benefits of the game.
