I am Allison Liddell a Senior Guard at Horn Lake High School with a 3.5 GPA. I reside with my parents in Horn Lake, MS. I am the youngest child and I have an older sister who attends college. I have served as team captain for six years. I have been playing basketball since 7th grade when my PE teacher noticed my athletic ability and encouraged me to try out for the 7th grade basketball team. I am known for my speed, ball handling skills, and defensive skills. This year I was very instrumental in leading my team to District Champs, the Elite 8 and a 21-4 record which is challenging in MS 6A. Academics is a major role in my life and my career goals is to attend a school that has a strong academic and athletic program that will allow me to study Kinesiology and become a Physical Therapist. I am also instrumental at school and within my community. In my community I have served at homeless shelters feeding the homeless, during COVID I have worked at several food banks distributing food, I have contributed and donated to several youth activities with monetary donations and by coaching in my community.
My work ethics are very strong. I am dependable and dedicated to basketball. I love to encourage others and be of service to all mankind. In the summer I play AAU basketball and I meet a lot of young ladies that I meet later in school ball as opponents. I am very social, friendly and coachable; however, I am very transparent with my friends that I make during AAU season that when we play as opponents there is no friendship it is a business deal for me on the court and we rekindle our friendship after the last buzzer of the 4th quarter. As a leader and a point guard I say things to encourage my teammates and others and I always speak from my heart so that it comes out with love.
