Andrea Rayford '18 Recruiting Profile

A pivotal moment for me in basketball was my sophomore year when we played West Point in the first round of the playoffs. Even though we lost, that game showed me how far I had improved as a player that year and the encouragement from my coach as a strong and hardworking player prompted me to train harder that spring so I came back a better player the next year.

As for my student-athlete career, I enjoy spending my time in my school’s clubs, LHS Interact and National Honor Society, because we do fun community service projects like Habitat Home Build. Also, I want to take advantage of my time as a student- athlete at Lewisburg High School to be fully prepared, academically and athletically, for college so I can accomplish my goal of becoming a gynecologist and obstetrician who is able to help people in need.
