Personal Statement

Excelling both academically and athletically are two of my biggest goals. I am currently a sophomore and I hope to maintain a 3.8 GPA through my remaining high school years. Hopefully, by maintaining a 3.8 GPA, I will graduate within the top 15 of my class and get an academic scholarship. Academics are very important to me but playing basketball is my true love. As a sophomore, I knew that it was important to set goals for myself. I hope to average 16 points, 4 steals, 3 assists and 3 rebounds per game. With each year, I will increase my expectations. Reaching 1,000 career points by my Senior year is my biggest goal and my stretch goal is 1,500 points. By achieving the above goals, I hope to get a scholarship in both academics and athletics. I haven't really looked at any specific colleges but would be willing to go wherever I could get the opportunity to play and achieve my career goals. I plan to major in sports medicine with a minor in physical therapy.
