I am a Senior at Battle Mountain High School in Nevada. My aspiration is to play college basketball for a school that does well not only athletically, but also academically. I first started playing basketball in 2nd grade and have improved my game every year. I work hard on and off the court to prove to people that size does not matter. I find ways to make my team the best that they can be in any situation.
What makes me a good player for your team is I have good sportsmanship, am willing to help my team as much as I can, and am very coach-able. Although, I'm only 5 feet, that does not mean I don't have the passion for this sport like any other player on your team. I will give it my all everyday to prove to you that undersized players can contribute to a team as well as a tall one. I will hustle at all practices and games and show my dedication and love I have for this sport. Being only five feet is one obstacle I have to face, but that does not make me any less of a determined, strong-hearted, motivated, or skilled individual. Therefore, I know I have what it takes to be a good and positive leader on your team when the time comes.
I have been in many Leadership roles throughout my High School years that have helped me become a leader on the court. I am the Student Body President for this upcoming school year. On top of this, I have had a 4.0 GPA all throughout High School. I am currently in a Jumpstart program that will help me receive an Associates of Arts degree by the time I graduate High School. I have also had a 4.0 in all my college classes so far. I will show up everyday ready to give my all on and off the court.
