Ella Karavanic '23 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my athletic career, I have been described by numerous teammates and coaches as an extremely perseverant, driven, and strong player. I have a very high basketball IQ and I am able to read the court very well and react quickly. I am a coachable player who listens and takes advice well, as I want to be the best player I can possibly be. I am always there to pick up my teammates when they fall down and I am always there to help them and be someone they can look up to off the court. I encourage and lead my teammates by setting a good example and staying focused on my goal of playing basketball at the next level. I have endured multiple ACL injuries and reconstruction surgeries in the past few years. Instead of losing my drive and giving up on myself when I felt down and alone during those years of recovery, I used these setbacks as motivation and persevered through these adversities. I have come out stronger, not only on the court and in the weight room, but as a person as well. I am also extremely driven in my academics and strive to do the best in each class I take. I work hard and use my knowledge and character to excel in the classroom environment, which has awarded me greatly through my high GPA of 3.96, my class rank of 29 out of 425, and my membership in the National Honor Society.
