During my childhood I always moved around a lot. I have moved around almost roughly every 2-4 years. Sports has always been an outlet I gravitated towards, and allowed me to connect with people and makes friends. Since second grade, I remember picking up my first basketball and getting a medal. Looking back on it, I believe it was a participation medal, but it still meant all the world to me. Since then I have moved twice, once to Canada where I began my club journey. Now I am looking to explore my options and continue this love I have for the game that has been with me since what feels like day 1. Academically I have always been held to higher expectation, both by my parents and myself. I enjoy volunteering at the neighborhood church, and work with my school during community service. I strive to be an active participant both in the classroom and in my community, not because I have to, but because I thrive in active environments.
