My name is Lila Schoen, I am a rising junior at Mainland Regional High School in Linwood, New Jersey. I am a 5'8 shooting guard, and play for the Philadelphia Belles AAU team. Winning the New Jersey Group 3 State Championship as a sophomore has so far been the highlight of my high school career. I am a varsity player for my high school team and will be in the starting 5 this upcoming season. I was fortunate enough to be a part of such a successful team and group of girls who continue to push me to become a better player and help to improve my game. I am continuing to grow each and everyday to better myself to become a solid shooting guard and all around player for my team.
Throughout just my two years of high school, I have learned the value of teamwork, being committed, and leadership, both on and off the court. I am not only on the hunt for a college that will be a good fit for me athletically, but academically as well. I work equally as hard in the classroom as I do on the court and I am excited to see what path is in store for me. I am confident I have the talent and competitiveness to compete at the college level, as well as the character and work ethic to have a big impact on your program and school.
