Jada Jones '19 Recruiting Profile

I have so many different goals and aspirations for life both during and after college as I begin my journey after high school.  As time goes on my thoughts and feelings toward playing basketball in college deepen. Not only do I want to play basketball at the collegiate level, I want it to take me places that some people can only dream of. Basketball in my eyes is more than a game, it is a way of life. The things I have learned in basketball have told me who I really am, and what I am capable of. Aside from that, basketball has taught me things a textbook never will, and allowed me to apply it to my life both on and off the court. When picking a college I am most interested in a school that I can excel in the classroom and on the court. What is most important to me is the benefits of graduating with a degree from a great college that will allow me to have many options after I am done with school. Separating myself from other recruits, I am a person who believes that hard work truly does pay off in the long run. Therefore, I work harder than those under me, above me, and even at my level, because I know that someday I will rise above all competition. In the classroom I have the same mindset. With God by my side every second of everyday,  I know that I am capable of all things. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward"(Colossians 3:23).
