    I started playing basketball in the 8th grade. Some people may say I started a little too late, but I did not settle for less. I was determined to step out of my comfort zone. I worked so hard that I became a starter as a freshman on the varsity team.  Playing basketball made me understand that staying focused is key factor to help me fulfill my personal achievements, not only on the court, but off the court as well.

    My goals after high school are to further my education to prepare myself for my future and play college basketball on a higher level. I want the full experience of what college is really like. I possess good leadership and communication skills and I have the ability to make a positive impact on others around me. I spend a lot of time studying to become a better student and to perfect my craft. I carry myself with respect, composure, poise, and confidence. I have committed and signed my NLI to Saint Peter’s University.
