As a student athlete, my academic aspirations have remained the same since I was in second grade. My goal is to become a lawyer, specifically, a white collar defense attorney or a philosophical lawyer. These professions require persistence and determination which I take pride in. As far as my athletic goals in college, it had always been a goal to further my knowledge and basketball ability to the highest level. My highest aspiration in becoming a college student-athlete would be to become the best, well- rounded person on the court and most importantly off the court. I could potentially be the best choice to further your team because I have never let my goals leave my mind. As far as school, I am at the top of my class, I was promoted into high school with the presidential award, top thirty-five in my class, and more importantly to me, I was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. I was also apart of the Make a Change Club, changing the world at a community, state and national level. I also gave my classes' closing remarks at our graduation. During these times I also volunteered at my local community Recreation Center and helped the younger basketball players. For all these reasons, I believe I bring a unique dynamic on and off the court that will benefit your program and my personal goals. I look forward to working with you in the near future!
