Maiah Rivas '19 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Maiah Rivas and I play for West Mesa high school in Albuquerque New Mexico, Before I became part of this team going back the last 60+ years that would be somewhat of a embarrassing statement due to the programs history of Winless seasons.  I choose to play for one the worst girls programs in the state and 100% believe I had a huge part of turning  the program into a power house state contender year in and year out. I have never played for a losing team and confident in my ability's to make any team better. I have a strong work ethic to get better every day. I have a love for the game more then anyone. Winning is the most important thing to me, I am a team first player I can control tempo and figure our my roll in any offense and produce. I look forward to competing at the highest level one day in my career. I have had  4.0 GPA  since I started school and have played basketball since I was 6 years old. I truly believe I work harder then any other girl in the county on my game ,unfortunately I understand I am a undersized however that has never stopped me from beating the other team and making every other girl next to me better. I look forward to playing for you or against you.
