Brooke Brady '25 Recruiting Profile

A personal accomplishment of mine is making the high school varsity basketball team my freshman year. I had always wanted that, but never thought it would become a reality. My skill development has improved greatly since starting to train at a higher level. I have learned to balance school and sports very well. I also understand the importance of teamwork and communication with others, as I’ve become the Captain of my AAU Team. Along with the leadership it will take to play at a college level.

My high school goals are to maintain an A average in each course I have. My goals for college are attend a school I love being at, from the learning environment to the courses that are offered. I believe being a balanced scholar/athlete is extremely important in my development. When Covid held numerous large restrictions in North Carolina, it kept me out of sports since all teams I was eligible for were inactive. That never stopped me from putting in the work to improve. When seasons came around again, I jumped right back into playing. A skill I possess on the court is that I can easily be exchanged from a guard to a forward. I have had coaches put me in both positions, and I perform well in each. My fluidity allows me to be a true universal player for the coaches needs as well as the team. With my calm, collective and forward-thinking demeanor I can excel in any situation. I have learned to balance school and sports very well. I make a responsible and engaged student-athlete, I have what I need to be an important role to your team!
