After starting basketball in the fourth grade, I quickly began to develop a passion for the game. I have made it the biggest part of my life, as well as my education. I am a very coachable player with a very substantial basketball IQ. I put the success of my team over the success of myself as an individual. My goal is to play at the collegiate level while also getting an excellent education. With my work ethic and determination, there is no doubt in my mind that I can achieve these goals.
I attend Cuyahoga Falls High School, while also getting an education at Theodore Roosevelt High School where I study business and sports management. I take my education seriously, as I have earned an accumulative GPA of 3.9. My teachers have noticed my leadership inside the classroom and on the basketball court. During my time at Cuyahoga Falls, I have been a 3 year letter winner going into my Senior season, while also leading my team in scoring my Sophomore and Junior year.
There are many people who have influenced my life and helped me become the person I am today. However, the two greatest influences in my life have definitely been my mom and dad; they have always pushed me to be the best version of myself that I could be in all aspects of my life. They have been my greatest advocates and supporters, while at the same time keeping me grounded by being my most honest critics. The amount of time, energy and money they have invested in me in order to make it possible for me to develop into the best basketball player I can possibly be, while also making sure I maintained my grades and kept a good balance in my life (social, academic, work, athletic) is something I will never be able to thank them enough for.
There was no way basketball wasn’t going to be a major part of my life; basketball is in my family's blood. I come from a family filled with former basketball players and coaches, past and present: My grandfather was a high school coach, my aunt and uncle were both high school coaches, and my dad was a high school coach for 12 years- up until my birth- at which time he stepped away from coaching so he could spend my childhood watching me grow up. As I grew older and became interested in sports, my dad got back into coaching and is now my head coach at Cuyahoga Falls…Basketball is in my blood!
