Basketball has been apart of my life and who I am ever since I was born.  My family has been known as “the basketball family” for years.  I work very hard and push myself to excel in everything I do.  I strive to do what is right in all situations and be accountable.  I believe God watches over me and has my best interest.  I have had the experience of living in three different states and  because of the moving to different places I do not necessarily think of the place I live to be my home.  Basketball has always been my home.  Ever since I was in the fourth grade trying out for a fifth grade club team, I knew basketball was my future.   Without basketball I would not be the person I am today.  Through basketball I have learned about passion, competition, leadership, teamwork, hard-work, coach-ability, and most importantly I have learned to never give up.  I have never known a life without basketball.  My dream has always been to move on and compete at the next level.  I believe I can reach my goal and I will continue to work hard until and after I get there.
