Jayda Johnson '28 Recruiting Profile

I am a passionate basketball player with aspirations of competing at the collegiate level. Below are a couple things that I think set me apart.

Skill Set and Work Ethic:  As a shooting guard, I always work on my scoring ability, both from beyond the arc and in mid-range situations, but I have put a lot of emphasis on ball-handling since i started playing basketball and recently started to love defense.  I think my work ethic is well above average.  I’m always in the gym and constantly look for ways to improve my game.

Versatility and Adaptability: While my primary position is shooting guard, I am versatile. I can play point guard if needed, defend at all levels, and love to make the right pass.

Academic Excellence:  Academics are important to me. I maintain a strong GPA and prioritize time management.  Balancing my school work with basketball has taught me discipline and resilience.
