Jessica Vari '19 Recruiting Profile

I would love to continue my academic and basketball career in college. I have been wanting to play in college ever since I was a kid. When I was out due to injury this past season, it drove me crazy. I could not stand not playing, which made me realize how much more I wanted live out my dream. I am a good candidate because I work hard and I am coachable. I lead my team with hustle, communication, and by example. I am a good student with a 4.12 GPA and 27 ACT score and I play an active roll in National Honors Society, National Art Honors Society, Athletic Leadership Club, Class Council, and Ecology Club. I also volunteer by tutoring, working with kids, and more. Additionally, I babysit, as well as, working for older people by doing yard work. I love the game and I can't imagine not playing in college. My goal is to get a great education while playing the sport I love, basketball.
