I am very passionate about my academics and it is my priority in college path. I hope to utilize basketball as a tool to attend an academically competitive school.
The highlight of my freshman year was attending the state tournament. It was the first time in Classen School of Advanced Studies' history that any athletic team has made it to the state tournament. Going into my sophomore year as team captain, I look forward to leading my team and returning to the state tournament. I feel my strengths in basketball are my ability to see the court and handle pressure. I have been challenged from being a shooting guard on my club team and transitioning to point guard this year on my school team.
I hope to attend college and continue playing basketball because my best friendships have been my teammates. I love the team environment, experience, and relationships that I have developed.
