Ashanti Day '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashanti Day, I love the the game of basketball I have been playing competitive basketball since 3rd grade. As a young player I was  mostly known for my lock down defense, not many of my opponents was able to get pass me. As I became a more mature player I am still known for my lock down defense, I can shot long range and midrange jumpers; I can get to the basket. I have court vision, I am coachable, I have a sense of awareness and I have a high IQ for basketball. I have a strong mind and very competitive. I have that drive and determination to be great by working hard on the court and off the court. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA. I understand that school is the most important piece to being great and going to the next level. I am equally passionate about my grades as I am about basketball. I understand that I can be great at both. I am confident and not cocky, and when on the court I desire to make my teammates better. When I step on the court my goal is to prepare to win.
