Alyssa Cox '16 Recruiting Profile

Playing college basketball for a DI school is my dream, but I know there is a perfect school out there for me that will give me playing time, plus the degree I want.I work hard on maintaining good grades while still working out every day. I hope to earn a Veterinairian Degree plus a business degree so I can one day own a Veterinarian Clinic. I love basketball and show my dedication by driving three hours to practice in Oklahoma City once to twice a week and 16 hours to Atlanta,Georgia to play in a tournament. I also teach younger kids in the surrounding communities basic fundamentals.I like to encourage these younger kids as much as I encourage my own team mates, knowingly that they will return the gratitude, and hopefully one day carry on this encouragement. I have faith in my abilities to not only to become an outstanding basketball player, but as person as well, such as,to have an open mind to different ideas, and always have a helping hand.
