The North Star Is Here!
Life is too short to depend on others to achieve your own dreams and accomplishments, and with every success story, there are many obstacles we must face, including the politics within the sports world, financial means, or commitments of players and coaches.
My name is Gia Sophia Aoude and I am very interested in becoming part of a basketball program of excellence. Much like current players did for the programs in the past years. I pride myself on being a team player, abiding by the team system, and doing whatever it takes to win.
As a Junior Point Guard in an Elite Girls UAA basketball team in Ottawa Canada, I have been dedicated to basketball since the age of six. My knowledge and passion have given me many resources and skills to get to the level of my accomplishments.
My Goal for University will be Human Kinetics and this will complement my future endeavors, which will add to my love for basketball. Any opportunity for me to follow my academic goals and play basketball at a highly competitive level would help me to succeed in anything I do because only you can define who you are.
I would love the opportunity to show you my desire to excel at both.
Gia Sophia Aoude
