I am a very conscientious and hard-working student-athlete, with very good leadership skills. My aspirations are to attend a good school and combine my academics with a very good basketball program where I can contribute to making the team better. I also believe in community involvement and in leaving a good footprint wherever I am privileged to be.
I am a good listener, a fast learner who trains hard and is able to lead by example while carrying my teammates along towards achieving our collective goals. At my current school, RCI, although I am a Junior on the team, I am also the most senior member of the team. Throughout this past season, I was able to mentor and motivate the younger players academically, on the court, in their personal lives and on our numerous tournament trips to the US. I led from the front and by example and was a good role model. I get along very well with my fellow players and Coaches.
I am self-motivated, and delight in pushing myself hard during training towards positioning myself to be game ready. Although I have only played the game of basketball for 5 years, I have added multiple improvements to my game every season I have played. I am a team-first player who takes pride in defense and in doing whatever it takes to make the team better and I absolutely love the game of basketball.
