Hi Coaches and Recruiters,
I have been playing basketball since I was in kindergarten, but I fell in love with the game at the end of 4th grade and began my quest to improve as player. As a 5th grader, my school team went to state to compete, it was my first experience playing more elite teams. I knew I wanted to play competitively, when I watched Cameron Brink play in the high school varsity state 6A tournament in spring 2019. I tried out for a club team (FAST basketball 2019 Oregon) with mainly 7th and 8th graders since they did not have a 5th / 6th grade team. I was too young to play with them, but the coaches let me train with them.
From the end of March 2019 through my 6th grade year, I attended school remotely from home. Everything had shut down due to Covid and I used this as an opportunity to work on my game. The coaches from FAST, during the Covid shut down, connected me some personal trainers that I worked out with every single week, so that I could become better. I really learned how to become mentally strong since we would not have access to gyms and would often train outside in the winter while the weather was bad. I'm so grateful to have trained with these trainers because they taught me work ethic and held me accountable so that I could learn to do the same for myself.
I began playing for a club team at the start of 7th grade and played for In Motion (now Northwest Reign) for the fall and winter season.
I was inspired to see Jazzy Davidson 2025 play on on a club team called Northwest Select and I tried out for the team. I played spring and summer ball for Northwest Select in 7th grade. In 8th grade I played for Northwest Select fall, winter, spring and summer (year round) and they have taught me so many important values and I really value my teammates and always being positive and uplifting.
This summer as an 8th grader, I played for Clackamas High School JV team in several June tournaments and I also got to travel to several out of state tournaments with Northwest Select. I'm really excited to start high school this fall 2023, work hard and see what the future holds. I am a quick learner and have been told by my trainers that I am very coachable. I always give my best effort on and off the court and strive for success in everything I do. It would mean everything to me to play at the collegiate level.
In the classroom I work very hard and would love to pursue a career in healthcare and study medicine in college while playing basketball.
