Playing college basketball is something I have dreamed about since I was very young and I cannot remember a time when I didn't dream of playing college basketball. To have the privilege to participate in the sport I love while continuing my education to sculpt my future would be the gift of a lifetime. At a young age I realized this would entail hard work, dedication and practice, practice, and more practice. Personally, I believe that sports mirrors life. Many successful business leaders learned their traits from playing sports. Passion, competing, commitment, dedication, work ethic, time management, setting goals and being part of a team are life skills that I have learned through sports. I always put the goals of my team first and will defend, assist or score as needed - whatever it takes - regardless if I lead in points, assists, steals or passes.
I look forward to the medium of higher education providing me the skills to become a productive and contributing member of society. I will proudly uphold the high standards of my college and understand that the decisions I make today affect the future of tomorrow.
