Janina Romero '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Janina Romero and I have been playing basketball for 11 years. Throughout those years, I have experienced teamwork, dedication, and hard work. Each year I set goals for myself and my teammates, so that we can be the best team out there and show the crowd and coaches why our team is entertaining to watch and hard working we are.  I have improved myself athletically and academically. Last year, my basketball team and I went to our MAC Conference Championship. That was a huge goal of mine and I'm glad we finally made it. I was named 1st Team All-Conference and my freshman year I received MAC Conference Honorable mention.  Academically, I improved my grades and GPA. I hope that I can continue to  improve myself athletically and academically anywhere I go and make an impact.
