As I enter the collegiate level, I want to pursue both an academic and athletic career. Personally, academics have always come first over athletics. That being said, I would like to enter the healthcare field to further pursue a career in orthopedic surgery. I plan to stay with this field all throughout my college career. Moving onto athletics, I would love to play basketball at the varsity college level. Relating to athletics, my character consists of determination and grit. At any opportunity I get, I try to get into the gym to better my physical and mental game. Also, I try to include teammates in everything I can because we always work better together. Lastly, when I am faced with diversity, I push myself to overcome it and come out stronger than before.
