My name is Ta'Shonna Wright, nickname (T). I'm 15 years old and I attend Governor Mifflin Senior High School in Shillington, Pa. I can bring great speed and agility to your team. I have excellent foot work technique, ball handleing and jump range for rebounds last year ranked number 1 in Berks County for middle school High Jump. I'm of strong mind with determination at best and very coachable. I excel in taking hard drives to the basket and executing profound lay-ups. I'm versatile with the ability to play any position. I have confidence, passion and a tough mentality when performing on the court which often results in my success. I have great discipline and thrive on corrections and immediate improvement. I'm different from other recruits because I have a specific whole hearted hunger that only I can understand to be great and the willingness to push to be that and so much more. I'm a player who has had struggle, whose been told no, whose sat the bench , whose been cut, whose been not called back, and with all that non success I was given strength and desire to push myself to the extreme so that I may never experience it again without knowing if I did my best. As a freshman on a team that starting line consist of 4 seniors my playing time is never guaranteed to be much however when I get in I always give my all from start to finish. I aspire to be one of the best women basketball players and to someday get drafted number 1 in the WNBA. In my sophomore season I lead my team to a 15-3 record before being side lined with a fractured wrist. I averaged 14.6ppg while hitting 21 shots behind the arch. My Junior season I intend to further my growth and knowledge in the game.
Academically I do above average but with transitioning to High School I have my struggles particularly science. I continue to strive with my academic and athletic success. My goal is to continue improving so that I might be offered a chance to play at a collegiate level and have great success. "I didn't just choose basketball, it chose ME".
Please keep me in mind as you began determining who would be a great addition to your team.
Respectably, T.
