I would like to attend a great academic school with a strong sense of community that will help me best prepare for life after college in both my personal and professional life. I think the following quote from my HS basketball coach sums up my character and strengths quite well.
"Izzy has all of the intangibles any coach would want - selfless, a team player, gritty, a relentless motor, and a defensive specialist. She is all over the floor, leading the team in steals with 2.4 / game but that only tells half of the story. She is the other team's worst nightmare with her tenacious defense. She's also a heck of a shooter - capable of getting 17 points a game (against Germantown Academy) but also a great distributor. She's our X-factor and difference maker and a big reason for 19 wins and a trip to the state semifinals."
Whether I'm in the classroom, soccer field or basketball team, I strive to make my team or classmates better. Whether that's helping a classmate study, score a goal/basket, dish an assist or make a big stop, I will do whatever I can to make my team succeed. I believe these qualities will serve me well both in college and in my career.
