I'm Emily Fowler. I pride myself on exemplifying a winning attitude on and off the court through leading by example. Having experienced tremendous growth academically, athletically, and personally, I was able to overcome a shy nature and begin achieving my academic and athletic goals. My success continues to be in no small measure due to my spiritual faith and the support of my family, coaches, and teammates. This has provided me invaluable life skills and taught me the merits of hard work, ethical choices, and positive relationships. My academic achievements include being a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and earning college credits as a dual enrolled student at SUNY Corning Community College. I am also deeply involved with school and community clubs, as well as earning awards and letters of congratulations from my state representatives. Athletically, I work hard to become a better player, teammate, and overall athlete by training in and out of season using daily practice routines, camps, clinics, scrimmages, strength training and AAU travel leagues. As a student-athlete ambassador for my school, I will make an excellent candidate for any collegiate team. The principles of hard work, respect, coachability, and commitment have been cemented in my character by my family and coaches. They have fueled my passion for the game of basketball. As a "baller", I would describe myself as an aggressive and quick player who exudes tenacity when it counts the most. Humility allows me to make the smart, team focused plays versus showboating. I strive to give my very, very best every day and push myself, as well as my teammates to meet that challenge during every minute of court time. It is my goal to earn a great education in a field that I am passionate about, while continuing to play the fantastic game of basketball! "Let the ball be the best player on the court!"
