Ever since I was a little kid I have always pushed myself to play every sport to the best of my ability. It has been my dream to take basketball to the next level, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get me there. I started playing competitively when I was around 9 years old through elementary school teams. Since then I have attended numerous camps, including ones in Canada and the USA, to continue to improve my skill and overall become a better player. I have since then played for school teams and I made the provincial Saskatchewan training team in 2018 (U15), which allowed me to play with the best girls in my province. If it was not for the coaches and players I have met I wouldn't be the player I am today.
After high school I plan to attend University/College and receive a bachelors degree in Psychology, and hopefully a Doctoral degree so I can achieve my dream of becoming a Psychiatrist. With all that said, I have continued to be a high average student throughout my entire education, my education has always been my top priority. I have received many awards and certificates for my hard work and dedication throughout the years. With working out multiple times a week and going to practice, I am able to complete all my school work on time and have time on the side to train.
In conclusion I am hoping to attend and play at a University/College that will push me to my full potential and give me the training and education I desire. I am willing to give my all in both the classroom and on the court to overall achieve my goals/dreams and make my family proud because without them continuing to push me to be the best athlete and student I can be, I wouldn't be where I am today. I see myself as a very hard working, reliable, cooperative, determined, and responsible athlete and team player.
