Skyler Ellison '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Skyler Ellison, Sky for short. From a young age, basketball has been a passion of mine. My will to compete is the source of my relentless, driven attitude. I can’t imagine life without basketball. My goal is to play basketball at the next level where I can make a difference and continue to excel academically. I seek to major in architecture, graphic design, or interior design. My hobbies include riding my horses, riding four-wheeler trails, taking my dog on adventures, and doing arts and crafts.

I am the starting PG/SG for the 3A Palmetto Mustangs. I led the Mustangs in assists during the 2021-2022 season with 80 assists. I am currently playing for the AAU Team FBC Team Al In Black. My coaches and trainers tell me that my strongest assets are my work ethic and IQ. At 5’9”, I can play any position, whether that's point guard, shooting guard, small forward, or even center. My preferred position is a utility wing player. I can finish in traffic, shoot from downtown, look up the court, and make game-winning plays. No matter what the score is or how much time is left on the clock, I never stop talking my team up or going hard. In addition, I have the ability to take what we work on in practice and put it into play.
