Hello Coaches,
I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Jordan Smith. I am a senior at Sequatchie County High School in Dunlap, TN. I have been on the Girls' Varsity Basketball Team since my 9th grade year. My goal is to pursue my dream of playing college basketball and earn a degree in Education.
I am a hard worker and dedicated. I believe I am a good teammate, I am easy going, get along well with others, and have leadership skills. I enjoy challenges and put in additional hours on shooting, ball-handling, and strength and conditioning to improve myself in all areas of the game. I have also participated in AAU since my 8th grade year.
Off the court I am also driven. I currently have a 3.8 GPA. I have taken honors classes and am completing dual enrollment classes at SCHS presently. I am an active Beta Club member and participated in our Youth Leadership Program. Other activities include church programs, FCA, working with the JR. Pro basketball league, peer tutoring, and volunteering at Sequatchie County Middle School.
I was introduced to basketball at an early age. My passion came from watching my dad. He is a high school basketball coach and I would go to watch his practices when I was little. That is when I really fell in love with the game.
Thank you for your time.
Respectfully,
Jordan Smith #10 Sequatchie County
