To me, college is not just developing my skills but to also grow as a young woman. Academics in college is very important to me because it sets out my plans for the rest of my life. I don't see college as a four-year plan but a forty year plan. Throughout my college years, I want to grow into a young woman by knowing when to be serious and when to have fun and also I want to continue learning and growing on being a better teammate by togetherness on and off the court. Being the best version of myself every single day is something that I strive for. I have a loving passion for seeing my peers around me shine and do good as well in the future.Since I have started basketball I have learned that basketball is not just putting a ball in a hoop. But from it, I have and will continue to learn life lessons on and off the court that would help me in the future. Also from basketball, I have made connections with coaches and my teammates that I call family.
