My next goal in my basketball career is to become a collegiate athlete playing the sport I have prepared myself for the past several years. I am not a stranger to getting home from a game at 11:30 to walk in and begin homework for my honors and dual enrollment classes. I do not let anything stand in my way of completing my goals. I have maintained honor roll throughout my high school years and I am a member of the national honors society, beta club, teen board member, and I was the captain of the varsity basketball team my junior year. I pride myself for being a coachable athlete and for being the best teammate I can be on and off the court. I have played AAU basketball since 3rd grade therefore I realize the commitment and sacrifices required to be the best player I can be, and I am willing to continue make these sacrifices. Some of my best childhood memories were made spending multiple hours in a gym winning championships and being there for each other through tough losses. Being the youngest of three sisters, I have experienced my oldest sister be a college athlete while taking on the responsibility of getting a professional degree, to my middle sister spending dedicated hours of studying to accomplish her goal of being a medical student. Being the youngest has allowed me to witness first hand dedication required to reach the next level and I am ready.
